Life......

I would love to write lot of things on this. But right now just want to scribble down few thoughts.

Live life like king size because it is really beautiful. Do what you want to do. Do the things which will make you happy but do not hurt others in doing these things. Your life is yours only and you are the king maker of your life and nobody else. Do not expect things from others in the life. Chances are high that these expectations will not get fulfilled and eventually you will get hurt. Take the lead and do the things if you think that you are born leader. The life will give you so many opportunities to demonstrate your skills. Never worry about the things which you cannot do anything about. You are what you are. There is no one who can stop you from climbing the success tree. You will eventually reach the top if you have faith in yourself and if you have the spark. Never allow the spark to do something in you to die. Be happy and let others be happy. Do not try to make everybody happy because you cannot do that. But make sure that you do not hurt their feelings. Your time will come any day. This life is full of surprises, shocks, joys and sorrows. Start loving your life. Every moment you spend is never going to come back.

Will write down more…..some other day!

To do or not to do………..?

This question will haunt most of us in some part of the life. Sometimes, when you have to take decision which can be turning point in your life; you will think about this question only. Should I do that or should I wait? You will experience race between your head and heart. And chances are high that both of them will show you opposite directions. Head will tell you to do something based on its own calculations, statistics etc., but your heart will not accept it.

So what do we do in such cases? Sometimes it is always better to listen to your heart because that will make you happy. This will make your heartbeats normal. But later on you might realize the consequence of temporary happiness.

You can go with your heart feelings but do not ignore what your head is trying to tell you. It is better to consider both the options and take a decision. This is the complex equation which involves your head as well as your heart. And you will only have to solve it. So make sure that you take the right decision.

On July 20, 1969…..Why not now?

On July 20, 1969 Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin successfully touched down on the moon surface. Then he spoke the unforgettable phrase, "That's one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind". He and Aldrin explored the Moon's surface for 2.5 hours.

We have heard about this right from our childhood. When it actually happened, most of us were not born. But I do wonder sometimes that the thing which we did in 1969, why was it not repeated in 37 years? I do not want to discuss about various theories about whether he actually landed on moon or not. There are lots of theories floating around since then. But with incredible advancement in technology, was it that difficult to reach moon in last 37 years? We are talking about mars, other galaxies. What about the moon which is like honey for all of us and which is so close to our heart?

I wish that I could answer these questions.

Quotable Quotes

From the novel Godfather by Mario Puzo:
Ø Life is beautiful.
Ø Every person has only one destiny.
Ø I’m gonna make him an offer he can’t refuse
Ø A man who doesn’t spend time with his family can never be a real man.
Ø Revenge is a dish that tastes beautiful when it is cold.
Ø A simple man can take revenge on the most powerful one; if he keeps his eyes open.

Few more:
Ø Whatever happens in your life, do not lose hold on two main ropes of life: Hope and Faith.
Ø Sorrow looks back, worry looks around, but faith looks up.
Ø The shell must break before the bird can fly
Ø We do not see things as they are; we see things as we are
Ø Ignorance is bliss, but knowledge is power.
Ø Your friend should always underestimate your virtues and your enemies should always overestimate your flaws.
Ø Nothings lasts forever, not even your troubles.

Where are you looking today......

I came across this beautiful article written by Evan Mehlenbacher as given below:
BUZZARD
If you put a buzzard in a pen that is 6 feet by 8 feet and is entirely open at the top, the bird, in spite of its ability to fly, will be an absolute prisoner. The reason is that a buzzard always begins a flight from the ground with a run of 10 to 12 feet. Without space to run, as is its habit, it will not even attempt to fly, but will remain a prisoner for life in a small jail with no top.BATThe ordinary bat that flies around at night, a remarkably nimble creature in the air, cannot take off from a level place. If it is placed on the floor or flat ground, all it can do is shuffle about helplessly and, no doubt, painfully, until it reaches some slight elevation from which it can throw itself into the air. Then, at once, it takes off like a flash.

BUMBLEBEE
A bumblebee, if dropped into an open tumbler, will be there until it dies, unless it is taken out. It never sees the means of escape at the top, but persists in trying to find some way out through the sides near the bottom. It will seek a way where none exists, until it expires.

PEOPLE
In many ways, humans are like the buzzard, the bat, and the bumblebee. They struggle about with all their problems and frustrations, never realizing that all they have to do is look up.

Sorrow looks back, worry looks around, but faith looks up.Where are you looking today?

Champions Trophy…….

I don’t know why but I was not really keen to follow Indian cricket matches in this tournament. As expected, we are out of the trophy and mighty Aussies have done it again. I was not really surprised when we lost that match. The lack of confidence was clearly visible in our players. After all it is a game and in this tournament one bad day on the field could throw your team out.

One can tell lot of reasons for our poor performance recently. People will crib about Chappel’s tactics, his rotation policies, Dravid’s inability to lead the team aggressively and so on.

Still I feel that this is not the end of the road. All we need is couple of comfortable wins to get the team spirit back on the track. This is the same team who has done fantastic job in some of the past tournaments. It was good to see that Viru was coming out of his shell and smashing the ball everywhere on the ground. Tendlya, Dravid , Pathan are already in form.

Well, team for the South African tour is already announced. It was really pity that Rajesh Powar is left out again. With Wasim Jafar’s inclusion in one day team, Sehwag better continue his form found in the match against Australia. Dhoni has to also click this time. We want more fireworks from him and he is definitely capable of doing it. This guy plays as per the situation now days. It will be also interesting to see what Apna Anil bhai does. All Asian teams are out of this tournament, so let’s see if Australia manages to win this time at least. ;)

I am sure that Men in Blue can bring back the world cup this time. We have the ability to do it. And just like millions of people in India, it is also my dream to see the world cup in the mighty hands of apla Sachin Tendulkar.

My overseas work experience……..

How did I get job in Sydney?
I was in Sydney for almost a year or so. After initial struggle of finding job (because not having any local experience), I finally got the job in the Software company located at North Sydney. Thankfully this struggle was not so long and I managed to get used to new circumstances in that time span. I remembered that evening when I got a call from CTO of this company. He was looking for .NET, SQL Server professionals and hence called me for technical interview next day. Then I quickly analyzed the options to travel to North Sydney. By this time, I was familiar with Sydney city internals. I was lucky to have my best friends and relatives there for me. That helped me a lot for smooth transition. And I must say that everyone helped me in whichever way they can. But getting a job was my own battle, right? Okay, so next day I catch a train to North Sydney and was thrilled to know that this train would cross the harbor bridge. It was raining heavily that time. I entered the office premises. Again, thanks to accurate road maps and directions.
Can you imagine what was I thinking that time? My first overseas interview. Totally unfamiliar circumstances, unfamiliar people, unfamiliar places and so on. I must say that before leaving India, I was very much settled in my job. I was full of butterflies in my stomach. I was anxious. I was curious and I was also little bit nervous. One good looking receptionist politely asked me to have a seat and offered me a cup of coffee, which I politely refused. I was told to come there at 5 O’clock in the evening. And I reached there at 4.50. So, I waited, waited and waited for next 35 minutes. Obviously, the CTO was a busy man and was help up in some kind of conference. Finally, the wait was over and CTO himself came to see me. He apologized me 10 times for coming late. He started with informal chat and offered me a cup of coffee again. ;) I was amused by his personality and his manners. Then we went to the conference room and started the first part of interview.
First part was sort of generic. He asked me generic questions. He was basically trying to check if I could suit in his organization or not. First part was over and I though that I had performed well in the first part. In the second part, lots of techie questions/scenarios were discussed. I was really confident discussing these questions which ranged from ASP to .NET to BizTalk to XML to BPEL4WS. That was really good time of the interview. And I could feel that during this time my anxiety, butterflies were gone completely. After almost 1 hour, he finally told me to join his office from very next day. And all I could remember is that I was sitting in a train back to home. All the time I was thinking that people say that every dog has its own day. And yes, that was my day. ;) Getting job there in the IT Company (that is also purely development) was not an easy task. This is what I was told. I had met few people and everybody advised me to be patient as it was going to be a tough task. This is how I was in and I knew that half of the battle was won in one day.
My first day in office
Suit bute me aa kanhya..band bajane ko…:) No, no, I was not singing this song while going to office. ;) I was well dressed (as usual ;)) and entered the office premises. Then the formal round of introduction took place with all team members. Monday was the meeting time in the office. Everybody was served the coffee. And who do you think bought coffee for all team members from the coffee shop? It was MD of the company. He was more interested in the project I was about to join. That was a big account for the company and initially a team of 10 people was set up. I was now one of them.I was expecting formal round of induction for at least 2-3 days. That is what we do in domestic companies. So, I was in sort of holiday mood. I was also happy to know there were 2 Indians in the team. You know…mitti ki khushbu aayi :) Then I met this guy, my project leader. He handed me various print outs. It included a database diagram consisting 40 tables or so, functional specification and a very high-level technical specification. He welcomed me and then assigned me 30 ASP.NET pages to be completed in 40 hours. :) That was my first day. Later on he told me that he wanted to check my capabilities in the first week itself. ;)
Conclusion
My friends, my juniors, relatives….so many times ask me about what I learned there while working. Well, I can go on and on writing on this but this time I will keep it really short. WORK HARD AND PARTY HARD. You will be given lot of responsibilities if they think you are capable of doing.

Trust…….Can you define it?

We all use this word “Trust” frequently. I trust that person. That person will never betray me because I trust him. We rely on our family and friends. We bank on our education and knowledge. Sometimes, we trust everything we hear or see. You will find so many definitions of this one word ‘Trust’.

So, what is trust?
It is a simple mathematical equation which adds your emotional quotient and your logical quotient together. Okay, I am not getting philosophical here. I have read few articles on this. And based on that information, I could come up with this equation. And I really think that it is true.

Your emotional factor consists of various things. It can be anything from love, affection to fear as well. Sometimes, you trust because you are afraid of something. Probably you are afraid of losing something. So, you have no alternative but to trust. You are attached to your own people. This might be because of your love or affection for them or vice-e-versa. This list of emotional factors is long and one can add so many things to it. But one thing is certain that these emotional factors expose your vulnerabilities to the world.

Logical factor or rather I would say it as practical factor, is really practical. This is the common nature of human being. The presence of logical factor in the trust equation indicates that you have assessed all possible outcomes of this relation. When you trust somebody then logical factor tells us that you have understood all possible conditions that could happen with respect to your trust relationship. Will you trust any person, who poses you death threat? Answer is no, right. Your logical factor will do all such kind of calculations and then add appropriate value to the equation. And then you decide whether this trust relationship can work or not.

So, next time you trust somebody; do remember this equation. You may be in a better position to judge. ;)

When you throw your baby in air in order to hold her, have you ever looked at her eyes? Believe me, your baby will not even get scared, rather she will enjoy the jump. Because she knows that your hands are up there, waiting to hold her safely. That is TRUST!

Has Ganguly missed the boat?

Ganguly failed miserably in the Challenger Trophy Tournament. I believe that it was just a game. And anything can happen in the game. Sometimes you click but sometimes you cannot. That doesn’t mean you are less qualified. But I feel that current tournament was the best opportunity for him to knock the selection committee’s door. He still has cricket and his leadership qualities left in him. And with our own ‘Colonel’ Mr. Dilip Vengsarkar in charge of the selection now, I think Ganguly still has a fair chance.

I do believe that whatever goes up has to come down. Right, that is what we have been taught in the schools. They call it as ‘Law of Gravitaion’. But what matters is how gracefully one falls down from the top. Irrespective of all the things associated with Ganguly in the past, it would be definitely good to see him ending his career positively and on a happy note.

I must also say that is not possible for everybody. Very few people have retired gracefully. Some of them are legends like: Gavaskar, Sampras and so on.

Cheers,
Amol

When Viru fires…………..

Virender Sehwag scored 90 runs not out yesterday in the Challenger Trophy. It is good to see that Viru is finally gaining his form.

Come on Viru, we are expecting lot more from you in the coming World cup. And I am just hoping that he opens the batting with Tendulkar in the World Cup.

Amol

Sachin at Challenger Trophy Tournament

Saching scored 139 out of 100 balls. One more magnificent innings. Remember Piyush Chwala. He got Sachin out in the last year. He was brought upon to stop the fireworks. He is the same person who celebrated like anything after taking wicket of Sachin and that also in front of him. Well, he crossed the danger line that time only. Very few bowlers have dared to do that but later on cursed them for crossing the danger line. This is what we have got from the last match for Mr. Chawala from our only Tendlya:
Six, four, four, six - four consecutive blows in his first over and Chawla didn't know where to hide.

Can you be an Indian living outside India Permanently?

If you ask this question to anybody, answer you get will be “Yes, definitely. Why not?” But have you ever thought over this seriously?
As a matter of fact, I have been thinking over this since last few years. With increasing usages of words like: migration, duel citizen, global village etc. in our conversation, sometimes you feel uncomfortable. I have met quite a few people outside India. These people have been living outside India since last 10-20 years and almost settled in their respective countries. Trust me, in 99% of the cases, these people are still thinking about time spent in their own motherland. It is true that these people are earning a lot (as compared to what they might have earned here) in dollars/euros/pounds/yens etc. They are leading a lavish lifestyle which they used to dream. They own posh bungalows, cars, speedboats and what not. Their dreams have come true but somewhere deep in their mind they are missing their own people. And this I am telling you after having serious chats with those people. These people want to travel to India as much time as possible. They want to spend lot of time with their people here. Sure, they crib about current affairs, politics, infrastructure and hell lot of other problems in our country. They want their children to be raised as Indians with flavor of Indian culture. They are sometimes or rather most of the times worried about their children. These people will try to celebrate festivals in order to teach their children their roots. But how much it can help?
There can be lot of debates on this. Someone might point to lack of opportunities and fierce competition here. It is true up to some extent. But is that only reason to stay away and keep on shrinking?
Sure, there are going to be some exceptional cases as well. And, I am not talking about exceptional cases. I am talking about average cases. I am not saying that you should not go abroad and earn money. If you get the opportunity they you should. But it will be better if you decide your own roadmap down the line and then act accordingly. It will be more difficult for you if you get confused. So think over this. Sooner or later this question is going to haunt you so better be prepared.
As they say, ‘Home is where your heart is.”. So if your heart is here and your home is outside India, then I doubt whether you will get eternal happiness. And yes, if your home and heart both are with you, then one need not worry about these things. It means your case is also exceptional.
Ultimately, everyone wants to stop his/her journey where it began. And life takes it own course. A bird can fly as much high as it can in the sky, but eventually it has to return to its nest where it belongs.

Cheers,
Amol.

Sydney………home away from home

One of my friends is going to Sydney for a vacation. He asked me about the places for sight seeing. That triggered my memories/thoughts about this place, where I spent almost one year of my life. I used to live in one of the Sydney suburbs called as ‘Glenfield’. This place is less crowded and with lots of trees.

GlenField/BanksTown/CampbelTown:
I will start with the same place. This place is actually on the motorway from Sydney to Canberra. Road connectivity and Rail connectivity is awesome. Lots of trains moving from Bankstown to Sydney central via Glenfield. You can also catch a train to central via Airport. If you move down towards Canberra from Glenfield, you will reach to Bankstown. This suburb has a sports club. This is the place of Mr. Steve Waugh. He used to play for that club earlier. This sports club is really huge one, with lots of big screens, casinos, lounges etc. You can also check nearby Campbeltown suburb.

Bondi Beach: Amazing beach. Most preferred beach by sydneykars. Don’t forget to carry your sun screen lotion along with you. You can catch a bus from Central/ Circular Quay area for the same.

Blue Mountains: My favorite place. This is basically a hill station. Don’t forget to carry your winter clothes because you might experience an unexpected snowfall and literally chilling wind. You can catch a train from Sydney central for the same. You can complete this journey in one day and come back Sydney townhall in the evening and roam around all over the night if you want. ;)

Botanical Garden: Amazing view of Sydney CBD and lots of plants species. Good place to keep your mind cool and focused. I had taken lot of decisions sitting in this garden. ;) Amazing tracks for walking and jogging as well.

Darling Harbor: One more excellent view of sky scrappers behind the harbor.

King Cross: It is not necessary to visit this place but if you are bachelor and want to roam all over the night, and then you can go to this place. Make sure that you are accompanied by good friends. ;)

Opera House and Harbor Bridge: I was stunned to see some of the fantastic views besides the opera bridge. My favorite place to hang out with friends. Make sure that you take a long walk on the harbor bridge and if your wallet is heavy then you can also climb on the harbor bridge. ;)

This list can go on and on......due to time constraint, I have added top 5-6 places. I will try to add more to this list later on.

Amol

One and Only Sachin

I got this mail from one of the real Tendlya Fans. I am publishing this infomration as is for rest of the fans. :)

This is what we hear from most of SACHIN’S CRITICS

1.Selfish
2.Scoring Against weaker Oppostions
3.Failing in pressure situation

Let me give u more info about this
1.Selfish
Well Records are meant to be broken and if Sachin is breaking them critics[haters more rightly] can't digest them..
One of the incidents people mention is regarding his 194 knock against pakistan..some said it was slow knock..agreed it was a slow knock by Sachin's stature, but if it is compared wid one of the knock wid Dravid...this will not look as bad it seems..
Tendulkar- 194 runs in multan with a strike rate of around 54
Dravid- 217 runs in oval with a strike rate of around 46

I m just taking one example to tell that Dravid's natural game is to hold the one end and let the others to dominate..in multan Sachin changed his gears and holded one end and he let sehwag to dominate..played Rahul's role in that innings. Now this is called team game.. but people call it slow batting and selfish... Sachin always said Team's win is more important than personal landmark..He proved this statement in that very test by taking Moin Khan's wicket off the last ball of the 3rd day..That Ball was beauty!!Wasn't he happy at that moment??? Since Sachin is the most senior player of the team so he can't throw his wicket just to prove critics that he is still a master blaster...[he is still scoring at brisk rate in onedays]..People forget his fast scroing Centuries against world class bowling

169 [201 balls] against South Africa in 1997 at Capetown
92 [120 balls] against West Indies in 1997 at Bridgetown
155 [191 balls] against Australia in 1998 at Chennai
79 [ 85 balls] against Australia in 1998 at Kolkata 100 in 123 balls against NewZealand in 1999 at Wellington[he scored 113 runs in that inning]
155 [183 balls] against South Africa in 2001 in Bloemfontein

There are many other breath taking innings in tests from 10dulkar.

But everyone please note this down..Sachin is the Only Batsman in Test Cricket who scored 3 Centuries wid a SIX
179 - 6 off Walsh[I remember it was a hook shot] against WestIndies in 1994 at Nagpur
124 - 6 off Min Patel[off spinner, straight down the ground] against England in 1996 at Birmingham
113 - 6 off Wiseman[off spinner, straight down the ground] against Newzealnad in 1999 at Wellington

Critics says he plays for his records and centuries..Now just look to this..

One Day
Centuries- 39 [out of 39 centuries India Won 28 times and lost 10 times,1 century in a rain affected match] 10 centuries gone in Vain..
Half Centuries- 72

now here is that intresting part

out of these 72 centuries Sachin got 28 scores of 80 and above in these 28 scores if we take out the innings in which he was not out [coz of over completed or target chased ] he was 5 times not out in such innings so now lets talk about remaining 23 innings Can u believe he has 10 scores of 90's??? If these 90's were converted in 100's the stats looks likes this
Centuries-49 just one short of 50 ODI centuries... and look he missed another record for those who have so much fuss about playing for records..
getting out highest numbers of times in 90's in ODI's ..just coz he wanted to score for the team and not for the his personal records he got out 10times in 90's

Test
Centuries- 35 [12 in which India won,15 in dead tests,8 in lost tests] lone warrior in tests which India lost Half Centuries- 41

Intresting Part
12 scores of 80+
6 scores of 90's convert them in 100s..he will pass 40 centuries in Test Cricket..sad for critics he played for team and thats why couldn't converted these 90's into 100's

2.Scoring Against weaker Oppostions 19/07/2006 08:50 This can happen in India only..
People remembers 152 against Namibia and forgets 98 against Pakistan in WorldCup People remembers 248 against Bangladesh and forgets his 7 centuries against World Champions Australia [4 in their own den]..
Only one century against Bangladesh and share the honour of scoring test century against each test playing nation wid Dravid,Ponting and Garry Kristen...No one talk about other 3 batsman scored centuries against Bangladesh..then why the fuss for Sachin??

Test
Australia - 7 Centuries [4 in Australia], 2 of them at the age of 18 in
1992
Bangladesh- 1 Century [Unfortunately his highest score in Test Cricket]
England- 6 Centuries [4 in England],
NewZealand- 3 Centuries [1 in NewZealand]
Pakistan- 2 Centuries [1 in Pakistan]
SouthAfrica- 3 Centuries [all three in South Africa]
Srilanka- 7 Centuries [4 in Srilanka]
WestIndies- 3 Centuries [ 1 in WestIndies]
Zimbabwe- 3 Centuries [ none in Zimbabwe]

90+
96 against Srilanka at Banglore in 1994
92 against West Indies at Bridgetown in 1997
97 against South Africa at Mumbai in 2000 90 against England at Banglore in 2001
92 against England at Nottingham in 2002
94 against Pakistan at Mohali in 2005

Intresting Part
He scored runs in all parts of world..There are three types of wickets u generally found in Cricket..Fast and bouncy Pitches like in Australia,South-Africa,NewZealand,WestIndies,Spin tracks in India,Srilanka,Pakistan, and seeming tracks like in England. Today people talk about Ricky Ponting...now check this out contd 19/07/2006 08:51 Sachin's and Ponting's average at their own home soil is above 55 so nothing to discuss this here, but the real part starts now Sachin's average in Australia 54.15 , 4 centuries Ponting's average in India,12.28 , no centuries

Sachin's average in England 71.60 , 4 centuries Ponting's average in England 42.63 , 3 centuries

I am taking records for these countries only bcoz.. rightnow, best fast bowlers are from Australia, best spinners are from India,Best Seamers from england[as there is no choice bcoz only england have such pitches] Anyone can take easily tell who played gud cricket against best attack on all kind of pitches...

One Day
Australia - 7 Centuries + 1 score of 90's
Bangladesh- 0 Century
England- 1 Centuries + 1 score of 90's
Kenya- 4 Centuries
Namibia- 1 Century
NewZealand 4 Centuries
Pakistan- 5 Centuries + 4 scores of 90's
SouthAfrica- 3 Centuries + 1 score of 90's
Srilanka- 7 Centuries + 3 score of 90's
WestIndies- 2 Centuries
Zimbabwe- 5 Centuries

90+
90 against Australia in 1996 at Mumbai
91 against England in 1997 at Sharjah
95 against Pakistan in 1998 at Dhaka
93 against Pakistan in 2000 at Hobart
93 against SouthAfrica in 2000 at Nagpur
93 against Srilanka in 2000 at Dhaka
98 against Pakistan in 2003 at Centurion
97 against Srilanka in 2003 at Johannesburg
93 against Srilanka in 2005 at Nagpur
95 against Pakistan in 2006 at Lahore

Intresting Part
Only 5 Centuries against minnows like Kenya ,Namibia[non test playing nation]...and Kenya was the semi-finalist of the world cup'03 10 scores of above 90 against only test playing nations...now can anyone tell me how is he selfish?? 34 times he scored more than 80 and couldn't reached 100..If he played for his records..he could easily scored 100's all of those scores above 80's ...

3.Failing in pressure situation 19/07/2006 08:51 ODI

Won Chasing Target
M R H AVG 100s 50s
Sachin- 101 4397 134 58.62 13 23

In Series Won
Sachin- 127 5548 186* 51.37 19 26
Dravid- 76 2645 153 42.66 2 22
Ponting- 177 7245 145 47.98 18 45

In Test
100's in Tests India Won - 12
100's in Tests India Lost - 8
100's in Test Drawn - 15

Holds the record of maxium number of 100's for loosing team...That means a lone warrior..Thats why once Indian Cricket Team was called as ONE MAN ARMY!!!!

More Intresting Part!!!!!!!!
Often said Sachin gets fail at crunch situation...Well 1st we must admit that when Sachin on the crease Win is sure...As soon Sachin gets out..the situation becomes crunchy!!! Sachin is out,now who will win match for us??
Dravid ?? or Sehwag?? or Yuvraj?? Or Ganguly?? No one sure who will win match for them...
So bcoz of this thing Teams targets Sachin as the most precious wicket...
Nasser Hussain introduced Negative lines for Sachin Tendulkar to stop the flow of runs when he is on wicket!!!
Local umpires also involved some times to help their team against Sachin Tendulkar, espeically Australians!
Some incidents striking in my mind...I think Sachin is the player who got out maximum numbers of times bcoz of bad or wrong decision by Umpires..I m producing those incidents only which I remember, there may be many other too

1. 92 - out of a NO ball from Frankline Rose against West Indies in 1997 at Bridgetown..Remember India lost the test just by 38 runs..U can just imagine how much that bad decision effected the result of the match!!!

2. 83 - Out of a NO ball again..[don't remember the bowler] last test in WestIndies in 1997.Draw Test.

3. 67- LBW off Crains..last test against NewZealand in 1999, was not out coz the ball pitched outside the legstump.Match Drawn

4. 61 - caught at forward shortleg, bowler Shane Warne.against Australia at Adelaide in 1999.. the ball touched the thigh pads and Umpire Darel Harper gave him out.. India were 107 for 4 when Ganguly joined Sachin and they put on 108 runs for the 5th wicket..

5. 0 - LBW bowler Macgrath..against Australia at Adelaide in 1999,same test, nothing more to say..Everyone remember that FOOLISH decision

6. 52 - LBW bowler Shane Warne,Umpire David Shepherd, against Australia at Melbourne in 1999, were chasing 356 as a target on the fourth day.

7. 45 - LBW bowler Macgrath,UmpireIan Robinson, against Australia at Sydney in 2000, the ball seemed to hit him too high and was going on leg stump, In that very over,Tendulkar had pulled a short one from Macgrath for two,and hooked the next two for boundaries, and a ball later punched the fast bowler back past him for the 3rd four of the over

8. 16 - caught behind off Waqar Younis, against Pakistan at Perth in 2000, it was must win situation for India to qualify in the final , scored 16 runs of 9 balls, hitted 3 fours in one over of Waqar Younis and 1 off Wasim Akram on the fastest pitch of the world,India were chasing 260 odd runs...

9. 0 - LBW bowler Gillespie,Umpire Bucknor,against Australia at Brisbane in
2003 funny thing is that the bowler not applead for the LBW... MR.Bucknor gave the decision of his own

10. 0 - caught behind off Lee,against Australia at Melbourne in 2003,ball touched the thigh pads and umpire given him out.

11. 54 - caught behind,Umpire Bucknor, against Pakistan at Kolkata in 2005, I think we all seen that decison, theball was not near to his pad,gloves,helmet,arm.. no where...

There may be so many other incident like this...Teams like Australia taking help from the umpires to stop Tendulkar... the 1999-2000 tour of Australia proves it..

THIS IS THE ANSWER TO ALL WHO HATE SACHIN TENDULKAR “GOD”

HEY CRITICS is that ENOUGH OR STILL U WANT

And the last thing is that Sachin played 11 years [1989-2000] in the era where his own team mates involved in match fixing.. So despite of his brilliant knocks we failed to win the match just bcoz others not contirbuting..Yuo can win ODI's just wid ur own batting but u can't win test matches wid one innings bcoz test played for 5 days its a 4 inning game..Still Tendulkar's record in that era is Awesome.. and remember The awe of opponents was as great as that of crowds. But the finest compliment must be that bookmakers would not fix the odds - or a game - until Tendulkar was out.

His bat speaks...40 is just a number

Sachin Tendulkar

What a comeback! Amazing firework by hitting 13 fours and 5 sixes by theMaestro. After the gap of almost 6 months, he did not seem to be out oftouch. Hats Off!

Cheers,
